Final (latest & greatest of 2025) Trime button

Howdy y'all, last 2 hunts of the year. Same field but different sites. Site next to the road gave up a 4 1/2" blade and gorgeous quartz rub rock which was a nice surprise. Full shank tomback button was equally nice to grab for our neck of the woods. 2nd site is a long long walk thru the field and we've only swung on it once. Whole lotta buttons but my very first signal was the 1852 Trime turned into a button, which is a first for me!!!!

The trime button is interesting, but, being a coin collector, it makes me cringe to destroy a coin like that. The 1971 Indian cent is actually worth a whole lot more at this point.

Same here!!! I've been fortunate to find over 20 trimes during my hunting career. This one stands out like my very first one.
