The FINAL collective total tally is in for 2008. WOW!!!!! Almost unbelievable.
First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your participation.....JOB WELL DONE!!!!!! Hats off to each and every one of you..... .... You guys did an outstanding job plus we had a little fun in the process.
Now to the numbers........In 2007 we collectively pulled a total of 683.55 pounds of silver from CRH'ing which averaged out to 56.96 pounds per month. I honestly thought this number was going to be very tough to attain in 2008....but in 2008 we totaled 815.564 pounds of silver.....yes, 815.564 POUNDS!!! This averages out to 67.96 pounds per month. Mind boggling......
We had some sleepers out there that never posted through out the year that sent in their 2008 totals which really boosted the totals bigtime....I wasn't expecting this.
This total was accomplished with participation, persistence, motivation, determination and persevering. All of this comes easy when your doing something that you enjoy and having fun while your doing it. This is a great hobby!!!!
I will start a new thread for 2009. Like in the past, only totals in that thread will be counted towards the 2009 collective total. These totals can be reported in PM's to me as well if you do not want to post your totals in the open forum and as always will be kept confidential. If foreign silver is reported, please list the silver content of these...I would greatly appreciate that.
As previously mentioned, I would like to encourage everyone to participate.....it's just for fun.
As always.....good luck to all and congrats on a JOB WELL DONE!!!! Once again, hats off to all of you.
Now, I have a question for all of you and would like to hear your opinion........Do you think the 2008 total can be matched in 2009? Hmmmmm.......?
SPECIAL NOTES:
In memory of Steve...aka Silver_Fox.....gone but not forgotten.... ....RIP..........
Special thanks again to Bob for getting this collective total thread started and maintaining it for as long as he did.....well done Bob!!
