Went out yesterday morning, by a few old foundations. Tons and tons of trash. Managed to dig this little guy almost first thing. My oldest US and my first seated! I've only hunted twice since I moved to Maine, so this is a great start! Thanks for looking. Congrats on the OLD seated!

Every time I see someone post a seated coin on here I feel my pulse quicken. I want to find one so bad! Congratulations on your first one.

Congrats on your oldest coin, yours 1st seated and admission to the 1800's club. 1843 sure is an old one. My 1st silver was an 1875 seated dime dug in June 2014.

Very nice, got to make the move feel good huh?

Nothing like your first seated- wishing you many more!

that's an outstanding find!..... congratulations!

Thank you to everyone who has posted. Prior to this, my oldest US was a 1882 Indian, and all time oldest was a 1879 3 kopec russian coin I found 8" down in my side yard in Michigan... Weird. But yes, the move has been good! Just need to get a Spanish silver and a musketball and my wish list is complete for this year! Still have a few hunts left hopefully.....
