Great day to be out... it was sunny (imagine that) and temp was 65 today!!
YAY!! Anyways, dogs and I went to get some junk... yeah, a few misc. items. Lots of melted glass & broken dishes. Must've found an old "lagoon" as my mother calls it. A few square nails, part of a horse's bit. A few other things I don't know. Looks like some kind of hinge or latch thingy...
Good size gar fish my dogs found too. Mini mega phone JK don't know what that is either.
Finally, something pretty!! It was pretty shiny up from the ground. I half-a$$ cleaned it, but could do better. Thought it might have been a bracelet, even though it is flat now. There is a kitchen knife says made in England. (Thank God it didn't say made in China!!)
Dogs and I left the lake area, and went home to eat. Then not wanting to waste any beautiful daytime, we hurried to the nearest dry creek bed. After the rain we've had, it's got a little water in it now, but not much. The fresh air was amazing!! Looks like a set of claws, and they were found in close proximity, BUT, I really don't think they are claws. We were having such a good time, and dark was fast approaching us. Being in the middle of (almost) nowhere... we literally had to run back to the vehicle before we couldn't see our feet.
Ever try running in big rubber boots in a creek bed NOT EASY!! LOL
I had NO light with me, I didn't expect to be out this long. So, these are our finds for the day...
