Finally found my first IH cent!!!

My sister promised me last night that I would find an IH cent this week and I told her she was crazy! Next box I opened was tonight and not only did I find my first IH cent but it was an ender and the year was 1899! She also promised me I would find a Flying Eagle cent this week as well. She has a great track record on calling out/predicting my finds so maybe I will get even luckier than tonight! The box also had 11 wheats and 2 of them were steelies!

that is a good score earliest IH i've got so far is a 1892. hoping to find a better one. but is your sister crazy! a Flying eagle! post a pic when it comes!

An IH ender would be nice! The best ender I have seen were a few wheats.

Too bad she hasn't said you will find a 1916-D Merc this week
Good score on the IH. I found an 1887 a while back, the only one I've found in 20+ boxes.

I know, right, I'd love a 1916-D! We are doing quite a few boxes of pennies this week which is why she said that about the IH and because I was complaining how I have never found one. Interestingly enough, about 6 weeks ago I told her I would love to find some gold coins in these rolls after reading a few posts where others have found gold ducats in penny rolls, and other gold coins in dime rolls, etc. She told me I would find some gold very soon! Sure enough, that Saturday while dumping I was able to clean out the reject bin of the coin machine and there was a beautiful 14K gold ring in there with a melt value of $185! I don't know what it is, but shes got some prognostication skills going on or is just a lucky guesser!
