Found a few nice buttons and my first gold. The gold appears to be jewelry, a setting for something, maybe a necklace. I think its period for the 18th/19th century since almost everything at this site is that age.
One button had something I hadnt seen before, its the one that says "Warranted Standard Gilt" on the back, in the center of the back is an eagle, holding arrows in its talons. The front is plain but I was wondering if it could be military.
