Finally got out after the holiday

Spent about 5 hours today searching war of 1812 site. Many layers of history here. 12 buttons ( one has what looks like a bomb exploding?) Could use some help on that one. Those shiny buttons can sure get you going when you've found old silver here in the past. All and all a good day to be out. Good luck to all. Art

Someone found a buckle like that a while back, and it was a big deal. I "think" that is a pre CW military button. Hopefully someone that knows buttons will come along, and make me look like a genius!

I think it might be 1812 Era can't find anything exactly like it on the Web. I have it on what is it, but nothing positive yet
