Finally got out for a field hunt - 1817 LC, buttons, etc

Was finally able to get out for my first "field" hunt in about 2 months, and had a nice warm day for it. Dan and I spent half a day exploring some rather difficult terrain, and we did find a few spots that contained some mostly 1800s artifacts. Not exactly the colonial stuff I was seeking, but it was fun to get out and experience the thrill of the hunt once again. Looking forward to another 1600s pit dig this weekend .....

Looks like about half of that stuff is pre 1800 Bill. Nice warm up hunt. I haven't been out since before Christmas, but hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend.
