Finally got to do some digging

We finally got some rain here yesterday that put enough moisture in the ground to get a shovel to go more than an inch. I decided to go hit a spot that I found after work today and see what I could come up with. Found some flat buttons and suspender clips. Also found an unknown item that reads
May 28 67 Carter Pat. Not sure what it is yet but am trying to figure it out, any help would be great.
Looking forward to getting out again soon, have plenty of sites to tackle, just need some time.

Carters?: liver pills were sometimes marketed in tin dispensers.
I posted a lead handbill print plate for liver pills in the new 'takeapill' dispenser.
mid 1800's. Keep em comin!
