I made a goal for 2015 to find a colonial silver coin. The thing is I was not expecting to find it in my first month! Anyways, I went to my favorite site which 80% of all my colonial finds come from. When I got there I started in my favorite area of the location, after an hour or two I ended up finding a colonial or very early 1800's flat button and a small broken brass buckle (Any Info on it would be nice, such as context and/or age). I was not finding much so I tried near an area I never go to, there was a tiny little stream and around 15 feet away from the stream I got an 80 on my T2, that signal is a little lower than a dime. I dug the signal and next thing I know a small silver coin was in the dirt I took out from the hole! I grabbed the coin and almost fainted when I saw the pillers.
