Got out to a Sawmill that I've actually had permission for back in 2013. I never could find it out in the field but I checked a corner I hadn't looked before and seen a bunch of stone and glass so I knew I found it. I only had time to hunt for about an hour and it was worth it. Most of the items found was melted lead and a few decent relics. After digging the 1840 LC first I could see it was in pretty good shape, so I was hoping I could score some more coins. I ended up getting 3 Indians. 1868, 1878, and last but not least the 1877. I have dug close to 400 indians over the years and only ahd 3 left on my list to find. The 1877, 1908S and the 1909S. The only downside is the 1877 has a full liberty, but the soil really ate it up. Either way, I super excited to cross that one off the list.

I think most here would take that Indian even if it were roached worse. Happy coin right there!

Most of the late 1860s and 1870s are hard enough but you got the key:occasion14:
