Hey All. It has been by far my toughest season ever!

I have been searching & hunting new spots galore and have had such bad luck I was really beginning to wonder if something was wrong with my machine. In the last 2 years I have had to replace my original 10" DD Stock Coil as well as my 6x9 Eclipse DD due to the plastic casing finally wearing out where it attaches to the coil, so was beginning to wonder if something was wrong with my coils, so I did some air testing...etc and everything seemed to work ok.

Yesterday I was way out in the boondocks on the CT/NY line and was having no luck again and was saying I need to send my tector in for a check up. After hrs of hunting I finally got that sweet sound I have been dying to hear, copper!Dug down and out pops this lovely DB! YES! 5 feet away I get that sweet sound of copper again & out pops what I thought was a KG II, but when I got home and cleaned it I discovered it was a CT! Love my CT's! Needless to say the drought is over & I'll be headed back to this spot in the fall when the ferns are all dead!

HH,
Roger

Congrats on finding the 2 coppers. For me though, the buckle frame is the find of the day. Looking forward to seeing what else you can find at that site.

The coppers and the shoe buckle frame are really nice. Hopefully, when the plants ide down, you will get some other goodies.

Well played sir!

Roger, you're always over those old coppers and I like it! Nice work and keep them coming.

It always comes down to the damn vegetation! I was just given permission at an extremely promising spot, sadly the prairie grass is outta control. Got to go back in the spring when the grass is down.

Congrats on the coppers and cool buckle frame.

Congrats on 2 nice coppers and the buckle frame

Thanks guys! I feel so good to be outta my slump, was really getting tired of coming home empty handed.

The DB looks to be 1806 or 1807, depending on how I angle it I see the 6 or a 7 and sometimes I see both, who knows could be the 7 over 6 variety.

Them thar is beauts................!! Congrats on breaking the slump............:occasion14:

Sounds like a clear cut 7/6 to me;) lol
