Hey All. It has been by far my toughest season ever!
I have been searching & hunting new spots galore and have had such bad luck I was really beginning to wonder if something was wrong with my machine. In the last 2 years I have had to replace my original 10" DD Stock Coil as well as my 6x9 Eclipse DD due to the plastic casing finally wearing out where it attaches to the coil, so was beginning to wonder if something was wrong with my coils, so I did some air testing...etc and everything seemed to work ok.
Yesterday I was way out in the boondocks on the CT/NY line and was having no luck again and was saying I need to send my tector in for a check up. After hrs of hunting I finally got that sweet sound I have been dying to hear, copper!Dug down and out pops this lovely DB! YES! 5 feet away I get that sweet sound of copper again & out pops what I thought was a KG II, but when I got home and cleaned it I discovered it was a CT! Love my CT's! Needless to say the drought is over & I'll be headed back to this spot in the fall when the ferns are all dead!
