Finally Picked Up Tice's Uniform Button Book

Funny how I started out hating button now I love finding them. I've been hemming and hawing about getting Warren Tice's uniform button book but today I said it's time (I'll probably never run across his Dating Button Book). Anyone have it and is it as good as advertised? The book is new still in shrinkwrap so I don't know if I should open it or try and flip it and grab a used copy.

It took me years to go get one, but I finally did and do not regret it. The prices are climbing. I got a used one just over $100. I have seen them much higher.

I found a used copy of this book for DIRT cheap so definitely going to try and sell the brand new copy! Now if I can only find his Dating Buttons book

I inherited the Dating Buttons book from my brother when he passed. It is well worth the money I paid for it! All kidding aside it is my go to book for dating buttons. Another good book is McQuinn and Bazelons "American Military Button Makers and Dealers; Their Backmarks and Dates" And while I like Tice's button book but always fall back on Albert's book because I am familiar with it.
