Albert Vs. Tice Button Books

Does anyone have experience with both the Warren Tice "Uniform Buttons of The United States" 1776-1865 book and Albert's "Record of American Uniform and Historical Buttons" book? Any feedback on a comparison of the two would be appreciated. I am about to buy the Albert book but used you are talking around $300 at best. Word?
