Finally Some Silver!

So nothing much, but I stopped by a bank on the way home and picked up $250 in MWR and found 3 40%ers! I've been at it for the silver halves for 3 months and couldn't find anything but a bunch of marked up clad. I'm so glad I finally found some.

Those are some nice key date chuck e. cheese tokens. I would get those appraised.

Some of the older ones can bring in a small premium (just for nostalgia junkies mostly, I'm sure coin collectors could give a crap).

i remember it being called show biz pizzia way in the day when did it change names ?

Chuck E. Cheese's was founded in 1977 by Nolan Bushnell (founder of Atari) and they merged with the ShowBiz Pizza Place in 1984.
Around 1991 or so, they rebranded both restaurants to Chuck E. Cheese's.

I did find this part of Wikipedia's article on ShowBiz Pizza Place very interesting:

There are a few restaurants still using the Showbiz Pizza Place name and animation. All are located outside the United States, and have no connection to the original company. Known locations are in Lebanon, Dubai, and United Arab Emirates. One also operated in Salmiya, Kuwait, but was firebombed during the Iraqi Invasion of Kuwait. There has been one return of the brand in the United States, where it was called Showbiz Pizza Zone (now closed.)
