Me and Weaver got out last night to one of his fields. We hunted hard for around 5 hours.
The field had just been disked and it has produced some nice old coins and Spanish silver
in the past. We hadn't been detecting for a while so we were like kids on Christmas.
Any way this is the first thing i have had to post forever. Weaver found 5 buttons and i
found 6 plus a large cent, this is my 5th one. I was glad to kick Weavers butt.

Nice LC Deno! You must be able to pull a date off that. Let us know what it is. Hogge :headbang:

I can't get a date off of it. Have you guys ever noticed how these things change for the worse
after you first get them out of the ground? Thanks for looking. I am going to start hunting
more with fall coming on. With any luck i will have some better things to post.

Way to go, Deno! You and Weaver make a great team. What kind of Spanish silvers did you find there? Cut ones?

Weaver found one piece of 8 there, I have seen him dig up all kinds of it and i cant
buy one.

Put that large cent in some olive oil for a day or two. You may be surprised.
