Its been a while since something yellow was in my scoop.

I got out of work early and decide not to waste such a beautiful afternoon paying bills and doing chores.
We got to the beach a few hours before low tide, nice crowd for a monday. The winds were still kicking up the surf so it was still pretty rough on the body so I decided to work the tide out. For some reason my excal was acting up today, and kept falseing every time a wave came over.

I did managed to dig up a thin 10k ring (3grams) with a small diamond chip in the center and later another .925 ring and less than a buck in change from the sand. Out by sunset.

Those are some reel nice finds.

Congrats on the gold. Hope it's just the tip of the iceberg.

great finds! glad you finally found the yellow stuff again!

I'm eating my heart out with jealousy!

ThaTS GREAT PAUL nice find  .. I wish some of that gold would make its way down here .. Were getting a few bathers in the water ,, But not enough to make a huge difference ,, Water is still a bit chilli down this way,,,, guzz1

  :thumbsup:Great finds for a perfect day. Any day off work and at the beach doing what you like to do is better than doing chores. Chores will always be there, you won't.

the gold sures looked bigger than that, must be 1 of those paper thin style.yea I was out sunday an the surf was rough, didn't get past waist deep an I am still sore from the beating.

2 nice rings there gold-digger, congrats. Don't know why your machine was falsing though. maybe the coil wire needs to be wrapped to the pole better or maybe the heavy surf stirred up some heavily mineralized sand? Good Luck!
Glenn

Nice looking gold, there's nothing quite like seeing that in the scoop!
