It was a relief on Sunday to get back in the swing of things and
start finding the old. . . even if they were only 4 Wheat's from the '20's.
In previous hunts at this site, I felt there was still hope in finding that
elusive first silver of the year. During the past few days, through 7" of
snow, on "all metal", I scored some non-ferrous trinkets that included
several harmonica reeds, some horse tack, and a crotal bell. I knew
that I was in the right place and it would be only a matter of time before
I would find my first silver of the year.

Little did I know it would be at at Starbucks! A '64 Rosie in change while
on the phone with Kimsdad. . . asking me if I wanted to hunt
So, does that count?
Probably not. So today I went back to this site and found my first LEGIT
silver. . . a 1903 Barber dime

Happy hunting!
