Hi, I'm new here and am wondering who finances detector purchases, specifically a Minelab Equinox 800? I'm not a fan of PayPal credit or Affirm and am trying to find a retailer who finances thru either themselves or a 3rd party other than the two I just mentioned.
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance with my question.

Greetings. Kellyco might, other than that, I don't have any idea. When I bought my XP Deus I had to use two checkbooks and a credit card, so I know how you feel.

I know kelly co does something like that. When buying detectors I personally just wait until I had enough saved up or got a tax return. I too live dollar to dollar, don't even have a credit card to charge something to if I wanted.

Kellyco does financing but it is through Affirm, 90 days same as cash was what Affirm was offering, dont know if they (affirm) is still offering 90 day interest free.

I used paypal and got 0% interest on a 2 year loan for my 800, I know you said no paypal but it doesn't get any better then that

Financing a depreciating asset only makes sense if the effective interest rate on the loan is less than the net return on your investments. If the only way you can afford something is to finance it, wait until you can pay cash.

save up and pay for it. Financing what is essentially a hobby toy is very bad decision making.

I use paypal buyer credit for "emergency" purchases, har har har, most times it's just cash.

At 32$ a month with no interest why bother putting a dent in the savings?? I was going to pay for mine out right till I seen that offer, figured Id just leave my money where its at....

I know for a "high caliber" guy its not much money but for some of us it is...

Plus you cant live the American dream unless you take out a loan....:laughing7:
