Looking through dimes, I spot an oddity in this roll. Can you spot it?

I have found many of these shaved pennies in dime rolls. This makes my 2nd Wheatie I have found in this condition. I'm just glad it was not a key date.

Most of these cents were shaved down for people who wanted to pass them as dimes in vending machines. There is a good chance it was done when wheat cents were in general circulation.

Interesting theory. I have come across at over 100 of these in the past years and could never think of why people would shave down pennies.
