Yeah, glad to see recognition of the detectorist ! Should be the same, here in the States, but it isn't to be.
Getting institutions, agencies, whatever, to support the metal detecting community that way, would bring our Nation's
treasures out for the Public to see, and appreciate the (material) history that has been lost for centuries. Collectively, all the finds (could)
paint a bigger picture of certain moments in time, even help re-write history books...!
