Finding another Viking grave, or is it a buried treasure?

Congrats! Those are some interesting and fabulous finds! Nice video as well! If the items are from a Viking age grave, what happens to the items found? Are they returned to the grave once it has been surveyed and documented or do they get catalogued and you as well as the landowner, get the value of the items if sold or if not sold, you get them back?

I can't wait to see a video of the excavation and other finds from this site!

Thanks mate. In Norway, all objects older then 1537 is government property, so you must deliver them to the museum. if there are objects of silver and gold or coins, you will get a reward. Normally it is not so much those items ..
