flagold, I watched all of your gold and gem related videos on YouTube and I just want to say thanks.

As a guy just getting started in panning, your video on reading a river/stream was exactly what I needed. The entire series has taught me a bunch. Seeing the process visually in the field, was huge step up from reading it through books.

Thanks again!

o out of all those bags how much did ya get?? great videos!..gregg

She just worked out two bags, the rest are stacked for now. She got a little over 4 pennyweight from the second bag but that could be the one we threw metal detector hits into, they usually average right at 2 pennyweight per bag. We still have stacks of bags of sapphires, opals, and other gems to work out and now have enough material of all types to keep us busy for many years.

Opal I finished up last night:

I too have watched all of your videos. I may go to your website and buy something from you just to show my appreciation, although your descriptions and videos explain in great detail. Thank you Matt.
