Found this at a local park today. Along with $3.17 of clad. New record. I have been out about ten times so far since I got my detector, still learning. I do not have a clue what this is. It is about 2.5in by 1.5in wide. Also found my first wheat cent over the weekend 1945.

That is one of the older Boy Scout neckerchief slides of that style ( cast metal w/steel strap held by drive rivets ). Most of these found are one piece stamped steel. It represents an elaborate knot, but I can't recall the meaning of it at this time.

Yours is in better shape than the one I found. I have a nice little collection of slides in various shapes and styles.

Thanks for sharing it with us. HH
