found a few Wheaties, army button, couple of buckles. and a brass piece about 4 inches long with what looks like a checkered flag on it. not sure what it is. no writing on it. does anyone have any ideas? thanks guys, Blu

Looks like a car logo
 
Could be the brake or gas pedal from a vehicle
 
It looks like a headstock badge for a vintage bicycle but I don't see any mounting holes.

Your "Great Seal" army button dates between 1910 and 1923. Does it have a backmark?
