Hi all,

I've been wandering around looking for places to search..sometimes a private yard, sometimes a school. When I check the older yards I can usually get my silver fix, even if I just find a lone silver dime. The schools satisfy my curiosity as to what has been lost since the last time I was there. All in all, silver coins, wheat pennies, clad, antique toy cars, keys and an occasional piece of jewelry is usually the norm. Here's some of what I have found in my last few hunts..included are a kid's ring, a dog tag, some toy cars (2 antique), a silver bracelet, a pile of clad, wheats (1930s to 1950's), an earring, an old watch, a token, a silver dime and 3 silver quarters.

As of today, my clad count for the year is 1,399 coins, totalling $68.89

Hope everyone finds a little treasure this weekend :icon_sunny:

I've found 283 complete diecast toys - mostly cars, with a few motorcycles, airplanes and helicopters thrown in ;D

Greetings Nat, Man I sure do like the look of those very worn Washington quarters - two of my first silver finds

were a 1939 and 1941 Washingtons , both very worn ,it sort of lends to the romance of the coins when they

have been around the block a few times. Argentium.

Thanks again guys :)

I know exactly what you mean, it kind of looks like GW's ghost trying to appear on the coin ;D Those well-worn silvers are very cool..who knows what history they've seen.
