I have a spot along the creek where I deer hunt, its about 40 yards x 25 yds wide. Its a small spot on what use to be property lines that never got turned into crop field and has never been turned. I stumbled on this spot and I have found some doozies on it,and I know there are a lot of rocks left in the dirt because test holes I have dug to 2-1/2 ft still show flint like crazy.
I could dig this spot, but I know with all the canoers and ATV riders it would get found by someone who knew what I was doing and wreck the place.
I studied for a long while about how I could nonchalantly get these rocks from the ground without drawing attention, so I started a salt lick for deer
(genius I know... lol)
