Found an unmarked site yesterday along an old creek here in Ohio. Found a site that’s not on any maps, not as old as I was hoping for but did make a few decent recoveries.

Could we get a close up and maybe a size comparison to a US dime?
I made a separate post under “today’s finds” that has a side by side comparison with a trime I had found. It’s labeled “Small Silver Coin”. I also have the size of it in the comments , it’s 12.5mm in diameter and about 1mm thick. I’m a machinist by profession.

Wow! Congrats on that heel plate and winder. Some great looking buttons you found too.

Some good finds there, congrats!
Looks like the heel plate broke when you flattened it out?
Annealing it would likely have prevented that.
