Well decided to go detect around a old lot that was recently cleared in the downtown area for a new low income home. Started out by alley an began finding some junk then went towards where yard was at that I had dozed a few weeks ago. I found a 1930 s wheat, 1946 wheat, 1948 wheat. Then just misc finds for a bit. Then right on top of the ground found a awesome silver ring that is very nice and old. I also found a .69 caliber minie ball an then the find of the day A 1868 2 cent piece.. Oh yeah. I was going nuts. Can't wait to go back and do some more. Also the whole neighborhood was built prior to 1860 so have many more exciting finds hopefully.
