Found these near an old ww2 bunker along the east coast, I know the iron thing is an old door hinge but can anyone help identify the red canister? it looks like a car part of sorts but i am not sure

Looks like a catch can with drain valve. Could be coming off an air compressor, could be an water separator in a fuel line...

The iron piece (long one) is a hinge from a barn or such, probably a lot older than the war stuff.
