Hello, haven't posted in a while but feel an update is in order...have had the new detector about 4 months and have dug so many great finds, can't list them all here. Most were found at places I had detected 5 x or more before. This detector can see thru the iron and get the goodies the others I used before had missed. Hats off to the best hobby on earth !

Nice!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Very nice recoveries from the previous hit sites.
This is what it's all about right here in this post.
Buying a top end detector, going to a site that a person has hit multiple times and still get quality recoveries.
Well done and thanks for sharing your experience with the new Deus ll.
Hopefully it will be clear to some out there.

I was sorting out buckets of past finds.
Stuff just got put in storage and never cleaned up.
Your one find in the 6th picture.
Same just about, but 180 degrees.

I personally don't use a D2, but I agree 100% that the newer detectors can find things the previously-declared best machines missed. Congrats and continued success to you!

Exactly. For the real test of any metal detector, if you dig multiple targets in pounded sites...theres a reason ! Its not about depth....but iron seperation and recovery speed ( reactivity with the XP Deus 2 ) Every find in the photos was dug less than 8 inches.
The new detector is worth every penny, and more. I know its only going to get better.
What settings do you use on your Deus ? I mainly detect in Fast program now.
Thanks for the comment !

wow, you got one too ! I dug it in an old small town Iowa park. Research says its a star and crescent moon locket from around the Victorian period, early 1900s. Nice find ! They were considered good luck pieces back then

So true. Actually it was tough to move on from the White V3i and Nokta Anfibio, though I still use those machines. I was stuck in the mud for a few years. Glad I got with the times !
