Fire on the mountain

Wildfire started up by Dillon yesterday, just up the mountain from where the grandkids live. It's pretty well contained at about 20 acres, no evacs ordered, but they did lose power for awhile. Supposed to get windy today so the situation might change. Nice sunrise at the marina this morning.

Great pictures! Sad to see a fire in that area. ls that the marina on the East side? We have family cabins in the across the highway. What a sunset!!

I have great memories of Dillon.
Is that water part of the Dillon Reservoir?
Beautiful aspen trees in that area if my memory still serves me correctly.

Yeah that's Dillon Reservoir. This is the Frisco marina on the west side of the lake. In pics 3 and 4 you can see the fire across the lake. Dillon has their marina on the east side of the lake, and it's a fine place but just not very photogenic, I guess you would say.
