Found this two weeks ago!! found the fuse yesterday

The smaller shot looks exactly like what I found this past weekend. Are they about 1.5 inches tall? I was not sure what type of shot it was that I found. I figured it came out of a larger mortar. My other thread is in the Virginia section Called this weekends finds or something along those lines. I have a ruler next to the shot I found. It is pretty heavy and appears to be iron.

nice find, when I found those reed shells in Fredericksburg I reburied 2 of them because they were to heavy to carry out more than 1 at a time - I was about 2 miles back in from where I parked - and the same thing again down in Kilmarnock with the confederate solid shots, you want to take them all and think you can until you start back up and down hills fighting briars all the way but I eventually got them all out
