Since its been raining out this way, I'm trying to stay ahead of the farmers and still hitting some fields. I was at a field I hunted in the Fall, and pulled this 1868 2 Cent Piece, 1934 Union Pacific Train token, and 1923 and 25 Wheats. Sure glad the farmer turned the dirt over since then. Along with those finds, I found some nice surface finds also, with the 3 Marbles, and the clay pipe with some stem. The 2 cent piece turned out to be a blazer, and as soon as I saw the green patina, I knew what it was. I cant believe this was a copper from a field. This is the first time I have actually found a clay pipe with the bowl attached to the stem. Usually its just the stem piece that I find. I sure am glad the sun is shining and its 80 degrees with no rain today. Sorry about the sideways pictures. They were taken the right way but turned when I posted them.
