Hi all, been a while since I've posted. While visiting family this last week I was able to hunt an old property from around 1870.
There were targets everywhere . I really had to Wade through the modern trash and old iron but on the last few hours I found a little hot spot.
I ended up with one 1883 Indian Head, an 1883 v nickle, two shield nickles , several wheats and my very first 3 cent coin (1869).
I also dug a small silver coin of some type,still trying to ID it.
Feels good to get back into some older stuff for a bit.
