First box of halves today

I recently went through my first $500 box of half dollars and got absolutely nothing. In every roll there was at least one coin with a black mark on it. Someone must have already gone through the coins even though they were fed wrapped. However, I will not give up. This is only the beginning of my half dollar search and I will order another box from a different bank soon.

It happens, try ordering 2 at one bank... those marks are so annoying as well! Best of luck on the next box!

Just because they have marks doesn't mean they were marked by the last person to handle them. They also aren't rolled by the "Fed". Nor do boxes come from the Fed. Not trying to come off as a smart a$$, just trying to educate. Also try to read as many older post as you can.
