Odd find in pocket change today...

Today I got back $.26 in change... Got a 1957-d wheat penny and a bicentennial quarter...

The bicentennial quarter was not a normal one, but to my luck, a silver one!!!

a wheat penny and a NIFC silver bicentennial quarter!

.0739 oz of silver, I was happy to get that, anyone else ever get one in change?

Very cool. Never got a silver 1976 quarter, but have gotten a few of the 1976 40% halves in rolls and one 1976 40% Ike Dollar in a roll of Ikes a few years back.

The silver proofs were minted in 40%, same as the halves from 65-70.

Nice score, I've never picked up an S-mint other than halves from boxes. A pocket change score is pretty sweet.

40%, it's just odd because you hardly see bicentennial quarters out there let alone one with silver in it! HAHA don't get me started about those half dollars -_-
