Found my first button and a 1921 Morgan Dollar last night! Sorry no pics of the Morgan but if anybody knows 1) How old the button is 2) how to get it cleaner safely, I'd appreciate some tips!

PS.. I'm in Jackson, MS if anybodys in the area, i've got some great places to hunt and would love some company and tips MDing in general.

THanks!

its a general service button WW2 most likely, just clean it with soap and a toothbrush.

It's not valuable, but a cool find.

Not sure what you mean by clean because it looks cleaned already, anymore & your more talking about shinning or stripping patina.
