First canvas bag

Got my first canvas bag yesterday. I did a round through some banks near home and stopped by a Harris bank at 4:59. I know some banks stay open later so wasn't too worried. Walked up as they were locking the door. I said I could come back later, not wanting to be a bother, but she said to go on in.

Asked for half dollars as usual (I'm a coin collector, looking to fill up albums) and he said how many... all ya got... let me check... Ended up they had $500, but not in a box. So since I intentionally come in unprepared, he went and grabbed a canvas bag for me.

Looked through the rolls and got one '65, which broke a pretty crappy skunk streak of about 5 boxes.

Have done canvas bags exclusively for almost the past 2 years. They are hit and miss. Some are other searchers dumps, some are right off a coin counter, full of trash and other coins but usually have AG in them.

Would love to get some coins from the counters around here but noone wants to sell they wanna take them to the banks themselves, which is stupid but I would also like to get a few bags of counter diwes...
