First coin spill!!!

These are my finds at a semi-old park in League City, Texas. My fist coin spill i found was today and there was 6 coins in it! 3 clad pennies 2 clad nickels and 1 clad dime! I was very happy with todays finds! 2 hour hunt in the heat!

Congratulations buddy, the first of many to come.... Always check around trees...that's where 90% of my coin spills have been found.. ..but, a wise man just told me to check the roots...if they r visible, landscaping has been done and if it looks like its just a big log shoved m the ground, filldirt has been added...not necessarily a bad thing...never know where it came from and what's in it... I check them regardless of added or subtracted dirt... ...anyways, best of luck to u.

Yep, and thats where i found it. Near a tree with the roots showing and lots of shade. That is where people like to go. Thanks for the great advice!

Just passing the knowledge I gained from a very wise man on to others... ...I just met him recently, and in the two meetings I've seen him he's taught me a lot, I plan on soaking up much more knowledge from him every chance I get... He's been detecting since the mid 60s, and it definitely shows.

Edit: his amount of knowledge on mding shows...not his age, lol... Hell, he still has his old detectors and they weigh as much as a Volkswagen... I think one takes 14 or 16 double A's lol
