I gathered up all the quarters around the house (about $200 worth) and gave them a search, plus filling in some holes in my new coin folders.

No Silver, but that is what I'd expected, since hearing here that quarters are a tough lot to find Silver in. Took awhile since I was filling up the coin folders, too, but sure enjoyed it.

Next project is about 40 rolls of pennies I found at Christmas time with the old Tripoly game we used to play, but hadn't touched since the 70's. While playing I noticed that most pennies were from the 60's and 70's, so I'm sure thinking some older Wheats may be hiding in those rolls.

Been enjoying reading and learning at this Forum; now I'm ready to start playing the game, not just watching :D

Welcome to the forum. You are right, quarters is the toughest denomination to find any silver. If you are looking to try to complete a series, you might want to do a lot of nickel searching. That is about the best denomination to complete a series, as it is still possible. A couple of folks here have even found the key of the series, the 1950-D. Good Luck. HH
