So Saturday morning as I had to cash in a couple of boxes of penny and nickel rejects and my daughter (who is now 5) asks me "So when are you going to get more rolls to open?" twist my arm, lol. ;D Guess I had been doing almost all of my searching after the kids went to bed, so after I cashed the rejects in, I headed a couple of blocks down and picked up a box of pennies, $40 in nickels, and $50 in dimes for the kids to open. Well they finally got the chance this evening and here are the results.

Dimes produced nada.
Nickels were not great (only 9 pre-1960) other than picked up a new foreign coin: Guatemala 10 Centavos (1991).

But the pennies were the best box of the year for me so far.

25 wheat pennies:
2 - 1942
1 - 1944
2 - 1946
2 - 1946-D
2 - 1947-D
1 - 1949-S
1 - 1951-D
2 - 1953-D
1 - 1955-D
5 - 1956-D
3 - 1957-D
3 - 1958-D

and 11 Canadian pennies (all between 1964-2001)

Also picked up a 1999-D SBA dollar and another 1976 $2 Star Note.

WTG, GMan! In three weeks you eclipsed my wheat total for all of 2006! Great to get the kids involved too. They'll remember these times forever.
