First Day Issue Commemorative

I picked this up at an estate sale. It says on the envelope First Day of Issue
Commemorating the 100th. Anniversary of the American Medical Assoiation.The postal mark says Atlantic City NJ Jun 9 - 9 am 1947. It also contains a letter inside authenticating it. The stamp is a 3 cents..

A few years ago the retail value was $4.50 per the 'Official Blackbook'.
