First Dime box

Can't seem to find a bank willing to order halves, so I decided to try a box of dimes. Not as good as I had hoped for, but much better than I was expecting. Total of 5 silvers, 4 - 1964 Rosies and 1 - 1942 Merc.

A lot better than a skunk!

On another note, has anyone seen any of the 2009 or 2010 cents in circulation? None around here and the tellers just give blank looks when I ask about them.

That is a VERY good dime box! The general consensous on this forum seems to be about a 2 silver Rosie average per box and Mercs are pretty rare. My averages weren't nearly that good. I found 2 Rosies in the 8 boxes I tried.

There are a lot of 2009-2010 cents in circulation here in Arkansas.

Really not a bad haul. Were they clear rolls? I got 1k today all clear rolls, haven't finished yet. I think i'm only gonna have 1 or 2 silvers from the looks of it. The paper rolls produced really well for me, if you can get a bank that gets paper rolls from feds, they seem to be good.

The rolls were green and white paper. The box came from Wachovia, although I noticed today that they were taking down the Wachovia sign and putting up Wells Fargo.

Looks like String and son wrapped CWI box. If I could score that many a box i'd be hitting em everyday. nice. ffd

Yeah thats a VERY nice box! I had one with 8 and one with 6 the other day...but normally I get 1-2 a box. LAst weeks box I got 13 2009 D's in my box. 12 are available
