First dollar!!

Went to an empty playground today.. Is amazing the kind of stuff kids carry in their pockets lots if junk and new coins (bout 3 bucks) and then where the swing set used to be I found this.. Yes is fairly new but to me is priceless!! Will be on my shelf forever!! 8)

I found 2 Ikes last year. One had been in ground awhile and looked like the rest of clad coins do and the other was a fresh drop and looked new. Only the ones with the "S" mint mark are 40% silver. Still a great find.

Lots of confusion on this coin.... The silver issues are ONLY the 1971 -1974 "(S)" mint mark.

Sweet find, I don't see them very often anymore. You might want to hit that park a few more times. That's a little big to be sitting there without another detector sounding off within 3 square blocks...lol. You may have found your first piece of virgin territory and a park at that...
