First ever silver! Sterling silver ring

Found my first ever silver last weekend. Sterling silver ring with dolphins on it. Very happy to say the least!

I think that is why I at first thought it was junk jewelry and just tossed it into my finds box. I've seen those stainless steel types before. Then just today, I used jewelry cleaner on mine and took a loupe to it. Talk about a pleasant surprise.

It's so great when that happens.
I posted a pic of all of my "junk" here last year and someone pointed out that one of the bent earrings in the pile was 14k GOLD. There was a 10K ladies ring in the same pile too that a pawn shop dude verified for me.

I know a little more now than I did then. No goodies in the junk pile this year.

You can purchase a ring sizer on line.
They're relatively cheap. It will straighten that ring right out.
