First Finds Need ID Help

I found this site while trying to identify my finds. I found the black (knife?) first last week then I was truly hooked. Now I got a shoe box full of flint. Not sure of the types of flint, points, or age. The black knife I'm guessing Kanawha flint and the three points guessing Upper Mercer. The large triangle is very sharp on the tip and measures 3 3/4" long and 1 3/4" wide. The smallest point is resting on a quarter. The blue colored material is so beautiful I would love to find a point made out of it. These were found in Southwestern PA. I did 20 hrs of searching since finding the large black knife and can't wait to get out again. Hopefully we get some rain!

Welcome aboard Rich, and nice looking finds and materials. I'd agree with you on your material identification. That blue stuff is wild, I've seen some of it in a collection from a guy in Morgantown, WV. Any grinding on the hafting area of the large triangle?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am truly addicted. thirty7 not sure if I know what the hafting area is but there is grinding edge work done on all edges to form a bevel. I assume the hafting area is the short end of the triangle where it would be attached. It is 1/2" at the thickest area.

Welcome to the site Rich. Nice finds. I don't think the blue pieces are flint though. It looks more like slag to me. We find that color all the time around where the Blast Furnaces were in my area. I would bet there was one close to where those were found.
