Weather has been decent here in Southeastern PA except for the rain. I tried out my MD in my yard yesterday and pulled out a quarter and 3 pennies. I got some trash as well but I expected that. Today I went to a local park and cleaned up under the Monkey Bars. I then went over to the basketball court and found a ring and a clip plus some change. Really liking this AT Pro. The ring I found is silver with a birthstone and it is my wife's size. A friend of the family has 25 acres of untouched land and has openned it up to me to detect. So hopefully I will posting some finds with some more treasure. LOL!

I found the rock in my yard. It registered on my MD but is not magnetic. I found one like this before but no one seems to know what kind of rock it is. Nothing unique about any fo the other finds. The ring is nice, adds to the jewelry box.

sweet finds, congrats

Yeah your really going to learn to hate those rocks if you have as many as we do in your area.

That machine is a coin finder! Quarters on mine are almost always 83/84 and silver is 99. Good luck!

Great Start! Awesome finds! Welcome to TNet!

Being from PA I bet that rock is a piece of burnt coal, tons of that stuff around here and it drives me nuts :tongue3:
