First gold!!!

Hey all, Wicka here!

Reporting first gold at my small small metal detecting fresh water beach. Usually like 5-10 people here on a good day.
Was super excited to see this!!




I've hunted more ocean beaches than freshwater but this is first gold!!

Yes, those are standard gold Hallmark stamps indicating quality or excellence! 22K is the same as .585!

22k would be .917 14k is .585. Good score on the gold though. Mine seemed like it took a while to find its way into my scoop. Way to go!!

Lorraine! I came home and showed my mom, she bought the same set for my sister as a younger child. She thought I stole hers! Now we have three of this exact one!
